LaundryBar aims to open five new franchises in the Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 — City Coin Laundry (LaundryBar) Sdn Bhd, self-service laundromat provider, aims to open five new franchises in the Philippines by the first quarter of 2020.

Chief executive officer and founder, Paul Ang said to-date, there are 520 LaundryBar outlets in Malaysia, 11 in Thailand, eight in Brunei and one in Turkey.

“Since it started in 2013, LaundryBar has successfully produced many franchise entrepreneurs with the opening of outlets nationwide and we hope many more will be interested in this franchise business,” he said in a statement today.

He said in line with the growth and encouraging trend in the franchise industry, LaundryBar remain committed to assist entrepreneurs to venture into the franchise business that can generate a decent income and raise their socioeconomic status.

Ang added that the company planned to introduce investment financing facilities to attract more entrepreneurs to set up self-service laundry franchises, and was ready to help them secure financing from Perbadanan Nasional Bhd and other private financial institutions offering attractive financing packages.
