LaundryBar Mobilises Emergency Laundry Support for Flood Victims in Putra Heights
11 April 2025 | Putra Heights, Selangor
In response to the recent flash flood incident in Putra Heights, LaundryBar stepped in to extend timely and meaningful support to affected families housed at the temporary relief centre in Masjid Putra Heights.
Recognising the urgency for clean clothing and hygiene in times of crisis, LaundryBar provided same-day pick-up and delivery laundry assistance, serving 95 families and 361 individuals. Laundry was professionally handled and processed across two outlets — Saujana Puchong and Taman Putra Perdana — ensuring a swift and hygienic turnaround.
This initiative goes beyond laundry — it’s about delivering dignity, comfort, and care when it’s needed most.
As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, LaundryBar also sponsored 100 reusable zip laundry bags and 600 units of 200ml eco-friendly detergent, supporting victims with practical items to ease their temporary displacement.
From collection to delivery, the entire operation was coordinated with speed and heart, demonstrating LaundryBar’s readiness and capability to support communities in urgent situations.
This initiative forms part of LaundryBar’s wider CSR vision — to be a responsible and compassionate corporate citizen that responds actively in times of need. By providing practical support, LaundryBar reinforces its mission to make clean living accessible, even in the most challenging moments.
LaundryBar remains committed to driving lasting social impact, and continues to explore new ways to contribute meaningfully to the communities it serves — aligning with aspirations toward future CSR recognitions and national excellence benchmarks.
